This is one of the clearer aisles! I couldn't get a good photo of the others as they were too tight. Sadly, I remembered I'd done a rare private consultation yesterday, so in a fit of prodigality, I've blown my fee (and more, once the tax office gets their cut!). "Wear the old coat, buy the books"??
Unreasonably, it feels like I now deserve a treat, so pie, chips and gravy with bread & butter and a mug of black tea in a proper chippy it is!

julesG Enjoy your lunch! Isn't that what consultation fees are for? I mean that's why I still do the Cambridge exams - the money from the speaking exams is for books and the annual visit to Gladstone's Library. Okay, and sometimes I buy yarn. 😉 I understand it, though. I was self-employed for years. 8mo
