The story was good except that there were some gaps that bothered me just a little bit. And I wanted more except that it was the end of the story already. Overall this was entertaining and enjoyable with a strong warlord and a smart and feisty h in a world full of danger with beasts and the unknown with traitors in their midst with a plot to wrest power from the warlord.

This is the best audiobook so far. It's a production! Just like listening to a drama on the radio (the way they did it ages ago, so old fashioned now) with several different voices, some sound effects, some background music. Listening to it I think gives another layer of upping the feels because of the brilliant narration and all that. If I would recommend an audiobook for a newbie it would be this one. What a breathtaking ride this book gave me.

I love KA. I love her writing style, characters, the way she makes them talk and move, how she builds up their connection. I'm a fan because her books had never let me down. I'm not sure how I feel with this one. I love her alpha heroes and this alpha-sub I'm just not used to it. But I didn't dislike this either.

An unforgettable love story. I knew there was a twist, but didn't see that ending coz of all the feelings, so heartwarming even with the tragedy. How lucky to be loved like that! I'm so glad I got to experience this book.

She's on the run coz some people think she knew too much and they want her dead. Just when she started to hope she can stop hiding everything got worse. Her path intersected with 2 brothers and now she's not the only one being hunted. There is romance growing which seems hard to believe in their situation. It was riveting watching them dodge their killers, their planning to turn the tables on the conspiracy against them.

This is truly a wonderful series. It's about man coexisting with nature and all the other living things we share this earth with. How man allocates and control more than they're entitled to that they destroy the homes of other creatures and their food. How nature fights back in retaliation by bringing out weather changes, storms, floods, extreme heat, earthquakes. If only man would learn not to complicate things and be content with a simpler life.

I thought this was a love triangle but when I read the comments from American Prince it's a threesome! It's unreal and it has all the feels. It ended in a cliffy too! 💘💓💔💋

I was engrossed like always. I'm forever a fan of Mercy Thompson.

I think finding your one true love is a blessing. When you lose it and finds it a second time, it's like winning the Lotto twice. But the pain and heartache that she had to go through, it made me pause and think do I really want to go through that? It disappointed me that the love of her life didn't last forever. The circumstances might not have given her a choice. I was glad when she found love again and he found love again too. Mixed feelings.

The only reason I'm not so enthusiastic about this book is because I was left feeling bleak. Maybe because of too many trials, betrayal, and hardships for the MCs and the demons seemed to be stronger than them. Despite having a common and greatest enemy (demons), man insists on fighting each other. But this is only the first book in the series, so maybe it will get better?

This is nice if you're in the mood for a man who lives a dangerous life, a woman who had just lost her husband. She's still grieving and doesn't know how to move on. He keeps a lot of secrets. Her husband kept a big secret from her. Then she moved into that world where loyalty is the most important and she has to choose whose side she is on...choose to live or die.

Love this! Not as dramatic as the first book, this is fun and lighthearted. Then there's the swoon moment at the end (again), the brothers really know how to bring out the romance. The perfect book for times when I want something fun and to be giddy with falling in love.

A story about broken people, how the abuse from the past define their present, a story about getting up and fixing what is broken, surviving and finally living the life that they have chosen. "Choose to be happy. Fire truck the rest." My heart is hurting. I feel the story had given me too much raw hurt that it was hard to recover, so even after finishing the books I still feel ? even with the happy ending.

I was Team Tucker all the way! I wasn't impressed with the h still, but at the end she was a hero. This is young love and all its intricacies...innocent, naive, insecure, prideful, but capable to last when it's true.

She's supposed to be special (as she's the MC), but she's so slow (to pick up) a lot of the time. She wants to know everything, but then she's always in denial, only reacts when it's too late. And self-centered. It was only at the end that things began to pick up again which perked me up, so I'm going to see this to the end.

This is beautiful and an ugly cry book for me. So emotionally disturbing and uplifting at the same time. I don't think I can find the right words about how I feel. I felt constantly choked up, my heart squeezing, my throat clogged up. The words were just so beautiful together that it pulled me in, making me feel what they were feeling, making me hurt with them, making me laugh when they were happy, making me sad when they were hurting.

She begins her reign as queen, but she has a lot of problems. A murder to solve, a council who wants to control her, a plot to dethrone her, and a war looming. She can only find comfort and safety with the king of the bears, but any kind of relationship with him is forbidden. A lot has happened and I can't wait for the next book! #fantasy

Yep I think this sums up the root of their problem. This was a fun read..I was giggling and laughing all the way and some moments that squeezed my heart. The h is the one who's broken and he made her whole again. A feel good book for me.

Yes I was entertained. I loved book 1, intrigued about the dynamics between the angel and the teenaged girl. Their world is bordering on the end of days, a forced apocalypse by power hungry angels. Angels full of their own superiority and politics versus humans doing whatever they can to survive. The story seemed promising at first, but it didn't deliver what I was expecting. Still it was entertaining enough for me.

Both of them guarding their hearts so thoroughly, afraid to open themselves again to relationship and love. He was rude the first time they met and she hated him. And then the slow burn begins. I had tears in my eyes and smiling at the end.

Book 2 is okay ?but book 3, Siren's Song, is not. It seems "forced" somehow and it didn't sustain my level of interest.

Practically strangers with an attraction. Their love story was really a modern fairy tale. Kept me entertained. Books like this is the reason why I keep escaping to the book world.

My first from this author and I feel overwhelming joy to find a treasure of words in this book. Just ordinary words, but she has this way of stringing them forming sentences making them into an awesome 👏 story. This book, the characters consumed me, all my thoughts. It was such a wonderful ride, surprised me some, took me to places I had never thought to go when starting this book. Made me think about coincidences and destiny.

I miss being in the world of the Immortal Guardians. The gifted ones are featured in this book; only Seth and Roland appeared for just a moment and it highlights the connection between the gifted ones and Immortal Guardians. A beautiful love story between a fierce and feared warrior and an advisor and gifted healer, a nobleman and a commoner. Can love find them, a warrior feared by all and a maiden who has to hide her true self to survive?

I hated him and what he had done to her. Despite that their coming together was sweet. I believed them when they revealed what was in their hearts. Not 5 stars for me but I read this in 1 sitting.

Bittersweet, that's how I feel. After reading the book, I'm left with still so many questions. I'm still wondering what's going to happen next. Still, while reading this I was mostly on the edge of my seat. I didn't want to finish this book right away. I wanted to prolong it. I wanted to savor it. This is what usually happens when I'm in the Fever world. So knowing this might be the end...yeah, bittersweet.

Love how this author writes. Another love story that's such a slow burn, but oh so good...and the feels and the laughs and some tears. So funny listening to her thoughts and her running commentary to herself. I was glued to the pages wanting to know what's going to happen next. Slow but steady he wormed himself to my heart with his thoughtfulness, his caring, his faithfulness, his awesomeness. At the end, I really can't help but love him.

This book consumed me! No unnecessary drama. Conflict was all from outside and ❤️ how they conquered it all together. Jesse and Harley showed me the most important thing is communication... and they were not 😳 to face any trouble head on. I ❤️ their characters, so dominant and gutsy. #shifter
