If you have read The Hollows series (to book 9: Pale Demon) this is a fantastic accompaniment. I loved the way Harrison took the idea of a world book featuring content from & supporting the series, then turned that into its own story. ✨This follows reporter Devin Crossman as he investigates Rachel & her escapades in the previous books, with all the information and facts he‘s compiled. I was just as engrossed as I am with a regular Hollows novel!

DebinHawaii Yay! Glad you enjoyed it! I need to start up reading the series again. I read the first 4 & I am annoyed at my library because #5 is only available in audio book & print but the not e-book like 1-4 were. 😡 Have you ever tried listening to any of the books? 2y

MeganAnn @DebinHawaii how frustrating! I have not listened to them, but I‘m also not a big audiobook person. Does your library offer access to hoopla? It looks like most of the series is on hoopla as both audio and ebooks. I had to search by title specifically to find book 5 as it didn‘t come up by searching the author‘s name. 2y

DebinHawaii @MeganAnn Sadly, we are Libby only & they do this with series all the times, especially large, older series. Irritating. I like the e-books more than print with these because I read them in small bits & don‘t have to drag the book around. I did find the e-book on Amazon for $5.99 though, so I may go that route! Close to the price of a latte so I can justify! 😉🤣 2y

MeganAnn Oh shoot! Our library does the same thing with the older series too and it can be frustrating. With the Charley Davidson series, I can only get them through an inter library loan and I think when I looked they were missing a couple in the middle of the series too. Hoping to track down used copies instead as I prefer reading physical copies whenever possible. Glad you found an alternative plan! 😊 2y
