1. Book club winery visit with snacks. If you look closely, you can see me in the background at the counter.
2. Free map of Rohan from the game store.
3. Azaleas next to the side door at church.
4. Double header at the ballpark.
5. The website tomanlorenzo.com has given me joy for many years, especially during Oscars and Met Gala weeks.

Hi, Littens! I miss you! My store has been open since January and it‘s going great but I want to get back on Litsy much more. I have a question for the #cozymystery lovers: what are the top series that I should carry (some of them, not the entire series) at the bookstore? I read lots of mystery/thrillers but am not as familiar with cozies! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Jess I‘m so excited your are open! I look forward to stopping by in the coming weeks. 4w
Jas16 Congratulations on your bookstore! Are we able to support you through bookshop.org? 4w
Ruthiella Congrats! I‘m not a cosy mystery reader myself, but I‘ll be interested in hearing what others think. Unless Richard Osman books are considered cosy? 🤔 I really like his Thursday Murder Club series as well as his newest 4w

BookwormAHN I'm not sure about a series but pretty much anything by Ellery Adams is good. 4w
Librarybelle Anything by Vicky Delany/Eva Gates is a winner! She writes several cozies (and a couple non-cozies). I also point people to Laurie Cass. I also love anything by Ellie Alexander. A good resource is the cozy mystery website: https://cozy-mystery.com/blog/most-popular-and-recommended-cozy-mystery-series/ . This links to a recommended list that is fairly recent. Oh, and M.C. Beaton—definitely recommend her books! 4w
Bookwormjillk Congratulations! Where is your store again? My daughter‘s field hockey schedule has been bringing me to York and Lancaster this year. For cozies I like Vivien Chien‘s series or maybe there‘s a series that takes place near you? 4w
BookmarkTavern I‘ve been enjoying the Bakeshop series by Ellie Alexander, the Record Shop series by Olivia Blacke, and the Stellar Investigations Detective Agency by Manjiri Prabhu. (edited) 4w

Pickpick

A soft pick but an improvement on the last book. Two mysteries take place in this one. One is fully solved while the second needs some more details given to us.

A shorter book in the series. Quick and fun with some good recipes.

julieclair I admire your ability to read several mysteries at once. I always get the plots intertwined in my mind whenever I attempt that. 🤪 1mo

Well that was a several-day pain in the .....

I will never make these ribbon cookies again. The only good thing is several of them were, by default, too ugly to gift so I ate enough of them to feel a little sick.

AmyG If anything, these look wonderful. 4mo
Tamra They look fabulous though! 4mo

CarolynM None of them look ugly to me, and they‘d look even less ugly if someone gave them to me! 4mo
Liz_M @AmyG @Tamra @dabbe @BarbaraBB Thank you.
@sarahbarnes @kspenmoll well, they are a colleague's favorite cookie
@CarolynM I'd send you some, but I think shipping would cost more than hiring someone there to bake for you 😂

Went to town making cookies this year! Chocolate gingerbread and Finnish cardamom (thanks to @Bookwormjillk !) modified to be GF and dairy-free, sugar & spice, snickerdoodles, and no-bakes modified from my great-grandma's recipes to be GF and dairy-free, and sugar cutouts filled with gluten and butter at a decorating station (not pictured).

catiewithac Very nice, very yummy! 😋 5mo

ImperfectCJ @Bookwormjillk Please do come by! We have plenty! (And lots of tea, too!) 5mo
ImperfectCJ @catiewithac Thanks! I should post the photos of the cutouts I tried to decorate. I mixed the royal icing too thin, and the poor snowman's face migrated. It would be better suited to a different holiday. Truly nightmare-inducing. 5mo
