Here's my June storygraph wrap-up plus my monthly stats page from my book journal 📖
I finished 27 books with no DNFs (although there are one or two that I've taken a break from and haven't decided if I'm going back to yet). I did better at reading more of my owned books this month and hope to continue the trend!

My June recap. I think all I did was read in my free time this month. I haven‘t had a ton of 5-star reads this year, but still some amazing books.

Top June Reads:

Like Mother Like Daughter
Made For You
The Long Game
The Searcher
All We Were Promised
Love on the Brain
A Bound Woman is a Dangerous Thing
Kill Her Twice
Fumbled

peanutnine @ShelleyBooksie I enjoyed it. Typical YA romance goodness, with some guest appearances by a few of her characters from her novels 1y

Ebooks-2
Physical Books- 3
Women Authors- 6
Pride Month-3
Poetry-1
MTTBR- 3

Alfoster Oh, I remember loving If I Was Your Girl!❤️👏 3y
DivineDiana @Alfoster It was very touching. ❤️ 3y
Reggie I actually gave my dad Devotions for Father‘s Day because he said he used to get into poetry. When Mary Oliver died everyone shared her poetry on here and I thought it was lovely. Already he shared some with me. One of his best friend‘s brothers died this past spring and there was a poem that resonated with his grief. 3y
DivineDiana @Reggie What a thoughtful gift! And I love that he is sharing poems with you! I read that Oprah keeps this book by her bedside. It is a beautiful and calming book. I love it. ❤️ 3y

Feel in a bit of a reading slump…

- The Guncle, Whereabouts and Real Estate were stand outs, and The Atmospherians was an odd one, but really good.
-The Claire Fuller and Beth O‘Leary were both good, but my least favorite from each author
-2 gorgeous cookbooks, from two favorite places, Cornwall and Greece
- A reread of Addie Larue for IRL Bookclub.
- And after loving Red, White & Royal Blue, was disappointed with the follow up.

squirrelbrain Doesn‘t look a bad month to me…even if you do feel a bit slumpy! Never mind, tomorrow is a whole new month! 3y
Gogobooks Favorite claire fuller? 3y

My June 2019 reads. Just copied @Andrew65 June reads and laid my reads on top. We are doing the top line and 1/2 of the next line as buddy reads. The others are some of my reads for June.

Andrew65 Interested in the S J Watson, enjoyed the book I read by him a couple of years ago. 5y
EadieB @Andrew65 It's an audio that I started the other day but did not get too far! 5y
Andrew65 Also keep meaning to try Kerry Wilkinson. 5y

EadieB @Andrew65 I'm looking forward to reading him too! 5y
tpixie That‘s a lot of books! 5y
Tove_Reads @eadieb What are we reading next week? I guess we start Follett this week? Let me know when you read Missing, have it on my TBRS list. @Andrew65 5y
EadieB @Tove_Reads I‘m on my way to Florida so can‘t read Follett until I come home on Monday the 10th. Too heavy to bring with me! @Andrew65 (edited) 5y
Andrew65 @EadieB I would suggest we start a new book next week as snowed under with recruitment process for two teachers this week and then will be doing the Librarything Group Read of The Dark Angel at the weekend. Also still need to get the Ken Follett book from the library. June/July always the busiest time of year as round off one school year, do reports for 400 children, assessments, Governor meetings, LA meetings, new improvement plans 👇 5y
Andrew65 Recruitment process for new staff, sort out classes for next year, sports days, end of year performances, appraisals, etc etc etc 😳🙈🥵😱 @Tove_Reads 6 1/2 weeks to fit all that in! 5y
EadieB @Andrew65 I only have my iPad with my NetGalley books and the Adrian McKinty book so I‘ll have to catch up when I get home. I also have Dark Angel on my iPad as I read it before as a NetGalley book but I‘m sure I won‘t remember the details. 5y
