Finished my #doublespin Lake of Souls by Darren Shan. @TheAromaofBooks

This book takes us completely out of the series arc, when Darren and Harkat travel to another place (past? future? another world?) in order to find out who Harkat was in his previous life. While I did like the break from the intensity of the War of the Scars, I felt that a whole book away was too much of a disconnect. I did enjoy the story though. 2.5⭐

I‘ve reached my third and finaly Goodreads goal this year (all thanks to Penguin‘s Little Black Classics) as well as my #MountTBR challenge of 60 books 😊🎉🎉🎉
