What a beautiful book. Mary loses her only child suddenly. And this book is her journey of healing through knitting. We hear the stories of the other women in the circle as they reveal their own heartache and pain. The book is a testament of the strength we find in the worst that life gives

#Knitting

Though I don‘t knit, but crochet, this was a nice book to sit back and relax with; all about friendship and facing fears.

Wasn‘t a bad book but VERY depressing. Doesn‘t let up the mood for even a paragraph. Some time line issues that I honestly would have overlooked if they weren‘t pointed out by some good read fellows.
The pain the woman is in after loosing her little girl is palpable. (Jacket info)
I found the character development a little too cut and dry.
All in all it‘s a good book if you don‘t want to think too hard. Definitely a chick lit feel to it.

My daughter started a knitting club at Ole Miss - they knit and donate hats for preemie babies at a local hospital. She should start a book club too. ❤️💙

Book 82. Cried. So. Much. Great depiction of different types and different stages of grief. Time heals. Knitting helps. (I just happened to be googling knitting quotes today and saved this one which works perfectly for this book)

Sue Knitting (and crochet) definitely helps me when I'm at my worst. ❤️ 7y

You usually start out with hats or dish cloths. I never finished the first scarf I learned to knit with. My first completed project were hats for preemies that I donated to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia

Last weeks book haul. Top stack is from Coles, bottom is used from Eyeopener. Things have been crazy around here, at least for me who likes things very chill lol. Still at the cabin, have six kids with me today! 🙈 Still crazy behind on reviews, hopefully I'll get caught up in the next couple of days though!
