An interesting and informative read about decluttering. This focuses on the emotional reasons for the clutter which was fascinating and relatable. A worthy read if needing to have a clear out or moving.

I'll be joining in this weekend, as it's a long weekend for me.

Goals? Cook & declutter & read. Food and clean organized spaces promote joy.

I love a good decluttering book to psych me up for a big house cleanse! I‘ve had the urge for a few months now and though I REALLY want to start in the storage room, I have a Covid+ family member in the basement so while I quarantine, I‘ll start with the upstairs hotspots! One positive about a smaller house, purging is a necessary project every couple years!

Beatlefan129 I hear you! I‘m reading this one now and it‘s got a lot of good tips: 4y
Cortg @Beatlefan129 Thanks! I‘ll take note and read it before the next purge! I usually do a purge every 2-3 years. 4y

I like how she organized keeping things into different categories based on what people chose to hold on to. Now I'm not sure reading this will make it easier to get rid of things but we'll see!

Good stuff in here that's a tad more practical than the Kondo method. I do an annual purge at the beginning of the year and this one helped me identify which "clutter blocks" I fall victim to when attempting to get rid of STUFF. A simple and easy to read book for those of us who need reminded to let it go! #nonfiction #newyearnewyou

Last night's dinner: Tuscan bean soup with this #nonfiction book on one of my #newyearsresolutions

I always de-clutter after the excess of the holidays, but this year I'm going to try to be ruthless with my STUFF which needs to go!

Lynnsoprano Your soup looks sooo good! 5y

How much did I need to read this? A lot! Especially the points about not filling up the closets or storage just because it's there. I have so much stuff and it's just the Hubs and me. Time to declutter so we can enjoy the stuff that's important to us. #NFNov @Clwojick
