so-soI wanted something light for some escapist reading, and that's what I got. I didn't like it at first - the jokes weren't making me laugh. But when I realized I was taking it too seriously, I relaxed and took it for what it is. Then I liked it more. Still, nothing to write home about. I was entertained.
Who's gonna tell authors that no one texts/emails like this?
My friend and I have been using this same gorgeously bookish gift bag for birthday presents to each other since we first became friends while English majors together in college. It invariably contains book gifts... for obvious reasons. This has been going on for nearly 20 years. The Bag has made its way from LA to San Francisco to South Africa and back during that time. And then her husband was “helpfully” cleaning the house this morning... 😱😫

Sadly I do not have a proper bookish book bag! I just use this big tote from my husband's company because I need a really large and sturdy bag to transport all the many picture books I drag to and from the library!
What's in my book bag is far more interesting than my bag itself! 😀 But I've had such a good time eyeing all of your wonderful bags!!
