I enjoyed it, but I do think it ended a little abruptly. It could have gone on for a bit longer. Very interesting concept. Hopefully he plans to write more. Either a sequel or a full novel. I really enjoy this author.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate 🦃🧡🖤💛🧡🍽️
December TBR.
Adding A Boy Called Christmas as well.

Finally got caught up on my #LitsyLove. I'll be sending them out tomorrow. I've also developed quite the post card collection, so I'm sending some out to random members or people I haven't spoken to in awhile. Where did they all come from? How did I get so many?
I also started this audiobook. Not sure if I'll like it or not. It's not my usual thing.
Is there any word on when the litsy app will be back?
Forced myself to get out of the house today.
Returning to Philip K. Dick. I'm really enjoying reading about this period of his life from his perspective. Such an odd experience he had. I'm glad he was able to eventually recover from it.
I like how he created himself and his personia both in the book. Reminds me of Vonnegut and Trout.
What did I just read? 🤣
Fruts, cheerios, and Philip K. Dick.
I've been wondering if PKD fans are referred to as Dickheads. If not theyre not, then why?🤔
It was ok. It was funny at some parts. It's rather dated. I found the way women were spoken of to be a bit derogatory. Even for the 70's. Probably quite edgy for the time.
It was interesting to see that employees are still treated just as poorly now as they were 50+ years ago.
Some things never change 😮💨
I'm probably not going to read any other novels written by Bukowski. This one just didn't interest me enough
I really enjoyed this one. Its a story of emigration told entirely through illustrations. I love the bizarre world tan creates.
Such a goofy book. I think someone who is actually into bird watching would get a kick out of it.
Just as nice as the first book.
Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates! 🎄
Happy Sunday to all who dont. ♥️
Getting ready to start the tagged book. Does anyone know if its more Christmas or Halloween? Or can it go either way?
(In my opinion the movie is a Christmas movie. But that's not going to stop me from watching it in October. 🎄🎃)
Finally caught up on my #LitsyLove and other mail and cards I need to send out.
I've kind of fallen off litsy. I went through bit of a rough patch. I got out of an incredibly toxic relationship. I fell into a depression and started drinking more than I probably should. That kept me busy. Kinda.
I'm doing much better now though. I'm slowly pulling myself back up with the help of my friends. I'm slowly playing catch up with the world.
Thank you for the beautiful card @wisherwishinguponastar and for the super cool bookmark @Maggie4483.
Im super sorry Maggie. I completely spaced on LMPBC to be honest. I will mail your book mailed back to you on Friday. Ill email you the tracking number.
Im also super sorry to my #LitsyLove friends. Ive neglected you all as well.
These last few months have been a living hell.
Im really sorry everyone.
Thank you so much @BookNAround. Everything is super great. I love the library card to "due" list. Such s cute idea.
I probably will visit The Midnight Library again. I've been going through some insane things these last few months. I think I just wasn't in the mood for it when I read it. I'm glad to have my own copy so I can go at my own pace. Thank you so much. ?

The Prophets seems interesting, but not the kind of thing I usually read.
🧠 I have meds and I try to get quiet alone time. I also play and cuddle with the kitty. 🐈
🧠 I had a mental health day and called into work 😜
Thanks for the tag @Ddzmini
Ill tag my #LMPBC group

Had to finish this one so I can return it to the library tomorrow. I really enjoyed it. I can really relate to murderbot. I also want to be left alone to enjoy myself, but humans keeps wanting to talk to me or make me go to work.
Does anyone know if this series has to be read in order? I can get 5 and 6 on libby without a wait, but all the others have a wait list.
May the 4th be with you.
Taking the opportunity to finally start this one. Looking forward to the Kenobi series coming out this month. But they know what we all really want is Mandalorian season 3 😁
I got to page 150 something and can't go on 😔 there's too many other books I'm far more excited to read. Not my cup of tea. ☕ I still skipped to the ending though😅 still needed to know, but didnt want to take the journey.
I finally finished Bonk. I don't know why it took me so long. It was a very interesting read. I learned a lot of interesting information. I think some of the information might be out dated by now, but it's still a super interesting read none the less.
On a unrelated note my library is finally open again after renovations. Pretty excited. Now to start my library books.
I really liked it at first. Then it got meh...
It was interesting enough though. I wouldn't call it boring.
I really liked it. Krouse works for a lawyer as a PI investigating a university scandal. She takes on rape culture while dealing with her own trauma. It's a heart breaking book.
I forgot to take a picture, but here's one of kitty reading his favorite book.
I really enjoyed My Friend Dahmer. I dont want to give away too much since its a #LMPBC.
It shows an outsider's perspective of a person turning into a monster and the red flags that lead up to it.
I'll send it later today and email the tracking to @Maggie4483.
@Mynameisacolour @booksellerofyourdiscontent
Just got the book! Looking forward to starting it!

Sounds like an interesting story on it's own and I was already sold, but I guess it's being made into a movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch? Alright I'm in.
I still need to read The Midnight Library. That's been on my TBR for awhile now. That is the same author right? If not oops.
Also...$79.38 😳
It was ok. She writes a good murder mystery, but the ghost story always feel lacking. This one was a bit spookier than the others I've read, but I'll still be sleeping with the lights off tonight. 👻
Finally all caught up on my #LitsyLove. Sorry everyone. Fell behind again. My pen has also mistaken me as a member of the Blueman Group. So that's fun.
💙💙💙
That's kind of HP Lovecraft's whole deal.

@ErinSueMreads
For some reason I haven't been getting the tags for #TarotTakeover. This is my attempt to play catch up.
@ErinSueMreads
I've finally decided to stop putting it off. I have started my book for the #ChunksterChallenge2022 😅

Link to It's Only a Paper Moon sung by Ella Fitzgerald. I'm going to be humming that all evening now.
I just finished my #LMPBC. I didn't really get from it what I wanted I guess. I don't want to go into too much detail and spoil it for the rest of the group.
It is still an interesting book though. Reading what serial killers has to say about their crimes, themselves, and whatever else. It did get extremely hard to read at times. It would get extremely graphic. But it was interesting glimpsing into their minds at times.

I feel like there are more types of readers than this. But I'd say I'm a never completes and listens to audiobooks on 2x.
Keep saying i need to cancel my #BOTM because I'm so far behind. Then this happens.
A very nice comforting book with the king of comfort for company. I really look forward to the sequel.
Stopped at the Goodwill close to me. They had a lot of interesting stuff today. I had to show some restraint. I was impressed.
