pan#UnpopularOpinion ...I really disliked this book. The humor was way too cheesy to me, and while the whole premise is to embrace however you look, I also didn‘t quite connect with the body-image positive vibes. Others loved this book, but it was so not for me.
I also sped up the reading...the book is over 9 hours on audio.

pickPositively delightful. 16 year-old asthmatic and overweight BB is having a mid-teen life crisis. Her journey to balance her relationships with food, health, self-image, her future and family are so relatable yet hilarious. Only bit a wee unrealistic (but hey, I@was still rooting for it) was the love interest, but such an overall entertaining story and characters with whom we can all identify.
Today's roundup includes 2 really good books for reluctant MG readers: both nicely illustrated with fun stories. The latest Minecraft book is for all you gamers. Boy and Girl is billed as a little weird, but still looks interesting. I'm most excited about this body-image-positive story set in East London about a big girl who loves food, life, and her little sister.
