I enjoyed this Cape Cod cozy mystery! I liked the snowy, cold wintery setting & thought the characters were well-drawn, if a bit surface. I did guess the whodunit somewhat early, but I wasn‘t 💯 certain, & there were other story-lines that required resolution. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the specialty lamp-store “schtick” .... & now I want to paint my own lampshades & buy beautiful finials. 😁

The days are getting cooler (🙌🏽🙌🏽), and it‘s even supposed to freeze tomorrow night! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Time for a 🔥 in the fireplace and a plan to finish this cozy for #cbbc (round 3).

This was a classic case of do not judge a book by its cover... I didn‘t have any interest in this one after looking at the cover but I enjoyed it very much!! Great characters and good plot line!

Three of us reading on a sleeting winter day. My son declined to join us today. My niece is loving One of Us is Lying (thanks for all the recommendations) and my daughter is loving The Wicked King. Hoping weather ends so we can go to see West Side Story tonight.

This was a cute book pick for the #CoffeeBeanBookClub :) wouldn‘t have been one I picked up on my own, but it was a fun, quick read!

A little bit grittier, more realistic cozy than some. I loved that the main character was a former probation officer- no one writes about us, we aren‘t sexy 😂 For an indie author I thought this was well fleshed out. The supporting characters made me want to hang out with them and the town.
