Maybe not quite as dark as The Sandman, but definitely still a fantasy graphic novel series with adult content. The art, in quality and variety, is magnificent. About half this volume is back story, half the main plot, but it remains engaging throughout.

Each new book keeps getting better and better. I'm such a fan of dark fairytale retellings and this is such a well developed series.

I can't wait to get the next few volumes tomorrow at the library.

This book was so beautifully illustrated, and I really enjoyed the retelling of these fairytales. I'm excited to read the next volume. Also, I have a bunch of new artists to look up! 🎨

I liked the main bulk of the story and some of the extras as well. There was one story I didn‘t really care for, but that was because of the artwork. I like seeing more information about the homelands and how everyone ended up in Fabletown.
