pickThis was a good book to read on my cottage holiday by the lake. I loved the storyline. It's a classic Nora Roberts romance. Boy meets girl, becomes obsessed with wanting her and gets her at the end. Although in this case I found Philip quite annoying. I loved Adrianne. She is determined, strong and a woman cat burglar.
pickA good read, but a bit more serious than her other books that I've read. The first part is definitely slow, and also somewhat hard to read. As you can tell from the synopsis, the entire point of the book is that Adrianne wants revenge against her father because of what he did to her mother... so the first part of the book is about what he did to her mother, and although it isn't graphic, it's still hard to read ⬇
