I really enjoyed this, the gothic atmosphere was very present and the mystery around what was haunting Evelyn was intriguing. Evenlyn herself was intriguing to follow as we witnessed her mind be overridden by her own fears and anxieties. The ending was unexpected and I enjoyed that.

I was looking for a strong gothic tale and I found it. Were the body snatchers aliens, medicine, or imagination? I still don't know. Love a good ambiguous ending.

Caitlin Starling has a new novella coming out this year and is hosting a knitalong! She had special yarn made by Merry and Mae on Etsy with several colorways and has chosen patterns on ravelry for each. I got Evelyn and Violetta, can't wait to knit with these! They're so soft too!
