Charming. Well written. Felt a connection. Great characterization. A story of a chef who uproots his family to study French cooking in Lyon, France. Already a book I want to read. So why only three stars. Because it‘s too long. It runs out of steam about 1/2 way through the book. And you‘re reading it and wondering if it will ever end. It burns out of its charm. I did enjoy it until I didn‘t.
