I'm still enjoying this manga and I loved that this volume completed the story arc that started in the first volume and starting a new arc all under Chise still trying to figure out what her purpose is and how that plays into Elias plans for her as well.

There's still a lot of questions I have about Chise's background so I can't wait for the next volume.⁠

The book starts out with a bang and I was honestly a bit confused. Kept expecting to have a flashback to how we got there? But we didn‘t? So yea, confusion was a big key in this one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I still enjoyed it though and gobbled it up in an hour or so.

This world is beautiful and I am loving the story!!

I'm really enjoying this series and lamenting I don't find more at the used bookstores. In vol 2, Chise finds out more about what she is and how to use her magic gifts. Elias continues to be my favorite character, he is a delightful ancient creature with ulterior motives.

I am officially obsessed with this series!!! I love this so much! It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, its everything! 4.5 ⭐

The cliffhangers in this series are torture.

It's been a long time since I've read a manga series! The last one was Hellsing years ago. Faeries, mages, alchemists, mythical creatures, everything I love! I also started the anime and it is gorgeous, it gives me a Howl's Moving Castle vibe.
