I read this off and on over the course of a year. I've done about four weeks of the formal eight week MBSR program and I imagine I'll carry much of this with me for the rest of my life. Kabat-Zinn can be a bit much but he distills the tenets of mindfulness and meditation so well.

Finished my 7th read of the #SummerEndReadathon. I understand the concept of mindfulness, but my ability to execute it just does not seem to be happening. Has anyone successfully done habitual mindfulness or meditation? If so, I want to know all about it.

A really phenomenal entry point into mindfulness and meditation practice. I‘m using the author‘s guided meditation app now, too.

I had to hunt about to find pink books, but I had quite a lot of green to choose from. Added my beauties from Grandma the high school English teacher. The fourth book with the tiny spine is from a poetry club, in which my mom was published. #augustofpages #bookphotochallenge @TheSpinecrackersBookClub
