Meet the Devil of Blackthorne Manor ...When I was a little girl, I dreamed a handsome knight would come and rescue me from my wretched mother. He'd ride up on his white steed and break the curse I've been fated to carry since the day I was born.Funny how things changed over time. How the fairy tale twisted into something far more crooked, darker than I ever imagined. In reality, my knight is scarred and broken, living alone in a castle of bones that overlooks the sea. He isn't searching for me. He never was.Lucian Blackthorne is as cursed as I am, and equally shunned by the locals, the fishers of men, who believe him to be the devil in the flesh.Perhaps he is, with the way his amber eyes draw me in, ignite me like an infernal blaze. And the sins he whispers in my ear are as wickedly intoxicating as the man himself.Yet, his touch is heaven and his will is my weakness. He calls us forbidden, an unsalvageable tragedy, with no happy end. Maybe we are. But in this story, he's the one who needs saving.Master of Salt & Bones is a dark modern gothic contemporary standalone romance.

This book. This book right here was absolutely riveting. If you want to read something tragic and dark this would be a great pick. It is full of romance and sadness but make sure to check for trigger warnings because holy hell there are a ton! I really loved this story.

Opened up my Christmas gift early! 🤗❤🎁 Never thought I'd enjoy reading on a Kindle this much but it's seriously life changing.

Lauranahe I love my kindle. It‘s easier to contort into weird comfy positions with it! Plus all the books are on there! Also, it hurts less than big books when you drop them on your face while reading in bed. 1y
KateReadsYA @Lauranahe hahaha yesss! I'm so much more comfortable reading in bed now 1y
CoffeeNBooks I was just looking at Kindles on Amazon, trying to decide if I'd like it better than reading on my phone. I'm still undecided. 1y
KateReadsYA @CoffeeNBooks the lighting on it is amazingggg and all the features. 1y
Lauranahe @CoffeeNBooks The lighting on the kindle is MUCH better! 1y

Definitely one of the better dark romances I‘ve read. There was mystery and I was getting some notes of thriller mixed in. The settings in this really add to the overall feel of the book. Some really messed up stuff happened to the main characters so be sure to do your due diligence in checking for the darker themes it contains. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ½

If you're a fan of the Fifty Shades of Grey series, this book may just be right in your wheelhouse. I wasn't a fan of the sadomasochism but I could appreciate the storyline. This felt like a twisted version of Beauty and the Beast, without the magic. Oh and a positive note for all you Kindle readers, this book was free with Kindle Unlimited.

I would recommend this for fans of Mr. Gray.

📖📚Happy Reading!📚📖

Book 57/2021. Finished 1/3/21 ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

This book was recommended to me, it is a dark romance but there is also quite a good plot and alot of other things happening in the background with each main character - and they are all interlinked

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I really enjoyed the tellings from both point of views and with flashbacks. I liked the romance. There were times I felt a bit eh reading the book because there is sadism in it. It‘s still good though.
