Her books are a guilty pleasure of mine. Love the romance in them.

This book is a stand alone; however, one of the main characters, Zac, is a minor character from The Wall of Winnipeg and Me. It takes places about 5/6 years after and picks up when Zac's career is starting to take off. I enjoyed the book but the plot was not on the same level as some of the author's other books. I was nice to revisit the character of Zac. I liked him in the other book too. 4⭐️

Product placement in this book for Blue Q (accidental? No idea) I'd never heard of it - had me looking it up.
It worked, because I want this now.
Mariana Zapata does it again. This book was amazing - just sweet and funny with childhood friends reconnecting and falling in love.
I laughed out loud multiple times - the gross humor gets me every time. Bianca was so unsure of herself when we all saw someone that should be confident- I felt for her so much. Zac ❤️ I could just picture his sweet smiles. I loved him.
And the cameos from past characters made me doubly happy.
Finding out there was a new Mariana Zapata was like the universe throwing me a bone after two loooog weeks. Does this book rank amongst my favorites of hers? Nope. But it was exactly what I needed to de-stress and start my weekend right. A long, super slow burn about a girl reuniting after 10 year with the pro football player who is like a member of her family and who she once had an massive crush on.
