I didn‘t expect this book to be as heavy as it was. I thought it was just going to be a funny vampire story, not one with three immortal girls dealing with centuries of trauma and a toxic ex. Granted, it was still great, it just wasn‘t what I expected at all. 4⭐️

What a fun revenge romp! It‘s a little silly, and the way the vampires work seemed a little too “different for the sake of being different,” but I loved the characters, the way the very different women banded together to get revenge on the man who hurt and formed them—and to keep him from doing it to others. Plus, sapphic romance! This was indeed very cathartic and satisfying to read.

I‘m out supervising the little boys (4 and 6) while they play in the sand. Vacation is nice.

This was so much more fun than I even dared to hope for! Poor Holly crimped her hair the night she became the forever 16 vampire, totally in love with her vamp boyfriend, Elton, even though it cost her a great friendship. Now she's been dumped by Elton, working at a Taco Bell, and eating douchey-people (she always gives them a chance to run) when she meets Elton's exes... and then falls for his latest teen dream, Parker. Bloody good fun!

MidnightBookGirl I'm also tagging this for #Swoonathon. While it's not a romance per se, the elements are all there- spurned love, sapphic love, sacrificing for love, lost love, found love, love for the 80s, all the love! 2y
ShyBookOwl This is on my TBR shortlist. I already bought it 🧛‍♀️ 2y
ElizaMarie This looks super cute! I am definitely putting it on my radar. @AkashiVampie have you read this one? 2y

I really enjoyed the focus on vampire life. And in order to turn, one must store a drop of your human blood into an heirloom, something meaningful to you, in order to retain your human memories. If you were turned, what would your heirloom be? Mine would be the crescent moon ring gifted on my 21st birthday.
