This novel came out this summer and flew under the radar on the new releases lists. As a new mom, I found comfort in the narrator's experiences of raising a newborn (the guilt, the feeling of being a milk machine, the tiredness and the overwhelming love). I enjoyed the first 2/3 and found the middle "twist" to be a bit annoying but overall I would recommend it. It's short but also full of some amazing insights about friendship and motherhood.
