pickLoved this adventure! So wonderful to explore the world that Django has created, and unravel the mysteries of the Chosen and the Ghouls in the ruins of a world they‘ve left behind to the humans. The story follows the divergent paths of a brother and sister who find themselves torn apart and set on conflicting paths charged by the those elusive, ancient civilizations. Cannot wait to read what happens next!
January wrap up. A good start to the year, but none that I could say were new epic favourites.
My most enjoyed book was A Sky Beyond the Storm on audio and my favourite print was Ashes of the Sun.
Two siblings separated at a very young age & which end up experiencing very different up bringings. One is driven by honour & the need to protect & the other is driven by revenge & hatred
This was an enjoyable fantasy read set in a world where only certain people are allowed to wield magic & in which these rulers control the use of magical objects. There is a conspiracy of some sort going on & our protagonist is working to get to the bottom of it
I'm on an epic journey to Mordor and I've made it to the first leg of my journey; Tookland.
My Kindle allows me to read twhilst I'm on the treadmill. I finished Ashes of the Sun and started Clockwork Prince.

(so good that even though I listened and finished this originally as an audiobook I immediately bought a physical copy the second I was done cuz I wanted it on my shelves).
I really loved the narrator though. She was 100% on point and an absolute treat to listen to.
This book is DEFINITELY a favorite of 2020. Highly recommended. 💯
I started a new audio book for my walk to work and back. I've only listened to the prologue and chapter 1 so far (about 1 hours worth) but so far I'm reeeeally into it! I friggen love the narrator and the story seems like it going to be a heckuva lot of fun. This is my first Django Wexler read and I'm crazy impressed. 👏
