I‘m having the best luck with my #MiddleGradeMarch choices this year! This was a super fun horror/sci if that gave off slight Stranger Things vibes while still being appropriate for middle school. I‘ll definitely continue the series! @megnews @sblbooks

We are short on subs today so I‘m covering 8th grade science for a few periods. They‘ve got an independent assignment which means I get to start reading a new book! The first couple chapters are nice and creepy #MiddleGradeMarch

Finished this one yesterday. A pretty good MG horror novel. This one was a lot more supernatural and was definitely the first in a series. A monster is stealing kids eyeballs. It‘s pretty creepy because they walk around with no eyes. And there is a secret science facility “helping” the town.

An awesomely scary middle grade, horror novel. It brought me back to my youth when I read a lot of Goosebumps. The story is well developed & the characters are great. After her dad disappears, Rae moves to Whispering Pines with her mom & sister. The town is super weird & super creepy, & that's before kids start disappearing then showing back up without their eyes. This is a great fall read, my only regret is not reading it closer to Halloween. 👁️
