The Blight Way: A Sheriff Bo Tully Mystery | 
I finally read this. At the bookstore I worked at previously a lot of my older customers loved this author and always wanted me to read him, so even though I‘ve since left I finally made sure to give him a go. We always had a waiting list for all his books for customers so there must be something there I figured. The humor is alright I guess but not really my cup of tea, but I could see why people enjoy his writing. 🤷♀️ Quick easy listen.
pickI grew up on McManus's articles in magazines like Outdoor Life & his collections of short stories - the kind that are "mostly true" - about growing up in (very) rural Idaho, where farming, hunting, & fishing were all a part of every day life. Somehow, though, I have never gotten around to reading his foray into fiction - a mystery series centered around the sheriff of Blight County, Idaho. This was a very fun & lighthearted read. The mystery ⬇️
