If you can suspend reality 40 times in one book, this book is fine. Read it in two days. Entertaining but certainly not rave-worthy. Yet another thriller page rec that is a disappointment. Similar writing style I'd say to Colleen Hoover. Eh 6/10

I‘m not usually one to hop onto the hype train but I had to see what all the online fuss was about.

This book is not about what you think it‘s about. It‘s way more “out there” than you can imagine. I eye-rolled a time or two but then fell into a rhythm of enjoying the sheer crazy of it all. A quick read, lots of unexpected twists, and the last few chapters were a complete shock.

I‘m definitely continuing with the series. #rushathon

4⭐ of straight-up whiplash...
At first, I thought this was just flirting with the edge of believable…but I soon learned it went straight off the freaking cliff…into were-never-coming-back-from-this-💩…it‘s so unbelievable. You‘re either going to love this for the sheer craziness or hate it for the sheer audaciousness of it. Apparently…I‘m tipping more toward loving it…go figure.

ALL THE STARS for the first book of this trilogy!! I don't even know how many times I said "WHAAAAAT?!?!?!?" up until the very last lines! I'm so glad I listened to this on audio instead of reading it. Since my eyes couldn't glance ahead, I was totally surprised and taken off guard by every twist. SPECTACULAR!!!!!! READ THIS BOOK!!!!!

This book is freaking crazy. There are soooo many twist happening. Things i wasnt expecting to happened! Omg....excellent job! Cant wait for the next book of the series😍😍😍

I just finished book 3 of the series… and I‘m not ok 😳. Read it!!

This book is well written, a page turned and complete surprise ending. I couldn‘t put this book down & at the end all I could think of was - what did I just read!!? The 2nd book of this trilogy can‘t get here soon enough

I randomly picked this thinking it was gonna be another kindle unlimited Romance and boy was I wrong.....I was surprised by how mu h I enjoyed it...many twists and turns and a bit unrealistic most times but thrilling

This would have been a lower rating if it hadn‘t been for the ending. I saw it going quite a few different ways but definitely not the way it went. I thought a good chunk of it was predictable and the story was a bit under developed. I wish there had been more about the characters so that I could really care about them, but it was a quick read and I couldn‘t put it down. Great ending and I‘m looking forward to the next book.

This book is super hyped up in my psych thriller group on FB.. and don‘t get me wrong, I loved it.. I just didn‘t find the WHOLE hype that is gets 🤔.. perfect final twist, but it just seemed too rushed for me maybe? 🤭 But, still a good book!

For only 220 pages this one packs a punch. This generally isn‘t my jam but HOLY COW it‘s got so many twist and turns you can not see coming.

🤯🤯🤯 what is going on?!? 🤯🤯🤯 I am still recovering from the whiplash from all the twists and turns in this book! Ainsley and Peter decide to try having an open marriage to rekindle. Of course, things fail miserably. The ending, sure it was a little out there, but I REALLY enjoyed this book. Will definitely be reading more by Kiersten Modglin!

Romance? Nope. Suspense? Eh maybe. Bat shit crazy? For sure!
This was a very short book, that I can say was a page turner, but in the end I was shaking my head at all of the different plot twists, and by how seriously messed up these characters are.
If you want a quick read, and enjoy some crime and daytime drama this is the book for you.

I‘ve been out through the ringer with this one 🤯. The first half was a bit flat and the characters drove me crazy as you are getting to know them and their lives. the second half had so much happening and I never expected anything like what I got. That last 5% was just mind blowing. A bit out there, but mind blowing none the less.

Huge thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape for an audiobook of this one. I‘m so glad I listened to it.
