I've read most of her books and I feel like her writing is getting better and better with each one. I really enjoyed this book. I loved not knowing what direction it was going to take. My interest never waned. It held my attention from beginning to end.

I loved this one. It‘s a mystery thriller that also had me laughing out loud.
I listened to the audiobook, which is a plus. Segments are set up like a podcast.
Also, January LaVoy narrates…she‘s one of my favs. 5 stars!

Being a fan of Basquiat's art and finding his life to be fascinating, I loved this book about his relationship with Suzanne Mallouk, written by her close friend. Short easy chapters written in a poetic style, mixed with stories told by Suzanne herself. I'm also drawn to stories from NYC in the 70's & 80's... ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

After slogging through this very slow burn…that never ignited…I finally finished! Only to be disappointed in the ending. I was so sad…I really liked Woman in the Window…I had high hopes for this one. ⭐️

I listened to the audiobook...which is read by Boy George. I'll be honest, I couldn't understand some of the words he said. He has a very strong English accent.
I enjoyed it regardless...loved his laughs throughout. He seems very honest, humble and down to earth. I think he's grown a lot since the 80's. 4 star read for me.

I really enjoyed the way this was set up. You're basically watching (listening to) a true crime series on Netflix with multiple people trying to solve a cold case from 20 years ago. Really well done ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Wow! I had no idea who she was so I had no intentions of reading her book. But I kept reading all these great reviews, so I decided to give it a try… And I‘m so glad I did! What a crazy life she‘s lead. She refers to Kanye as “the artist” in this book. I‘ve now learned what a controlling narcissist he is…not that I‘m surprised 😄 Definitely a 5 star book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘m fascinated by all things Cecil Hotel. I loved the Netflix documentary. When I saw Amy Price, the General Manager of the Cecil for a decade, had a book out, I grabbed it! Great stories about the interesting characters that have stayed at the hotel over the years …including Elisa Lam.

This one started off decent enough…but then it got boring. I feel like some of it could‘ve been cut out to make it shorter. It was almost a DNF ⭐️ ⭐️

GondorGirl I'm listening to this on audiobook right now. It's like being inside of a fever dream. 9mo
Melismatic Have you read any of her other books? I‘ve read two and just picked this one up - her brand of kooky oddball is weird for sure. 9mo
Hooked_on_books I really want to like her books but I just don‘t. I‘ll be skipping this one. 9mo
Tiffiney @Melismatic I have not…I‘ve been curious about Bunny…but now I‘m not sure if I‘ll bother 9mo
Melismatic @Tiffiney if you liked Heathers or Mean Girls as movies, I‘d say give Bunny a chance. It‘s def her best in my opinion. 9mo

While I liked the story overall, I found much of the dialogue to be bloated and technical to the point of boring. Also, it takes place in 2020…far too much talk of Covid, masks, etc. I lived it…don‘t care to live it again. It‘s just an “eh” book for me.

This one starts off decent…an influencer goes missing and her mom is a suspect. Then a little bit past the halfway mark it turns into a completely different book about a “cult”…nope! DNF for me.

I loved the format of this book. I highly recommend the audiobook…it has a whole cast, which made it fun to listen to. I really enjoyed this one…a lot of unreliable characters…you don‘t know who to like or who to hate. I don‘t think Lisa Jewell has disappointed me yet.

I read books as an escape…unfortunately a lot of authors right now are bringing politics and social views into their writing. I get that enough from social media and the TV… I don‘t want it in my books too. It‘s made reading new releases a little bit difficult.
