pickAnother Christmas break read in the longer series of Corcoran O‘Connor. I enjoyed this one like I do the others. It had its familiar parts and its own storyline too. I continue to enjoy the character development and general stories. I‘m sure I will continue along in the series.
pickOne of the real joys of reading this series is the attention Krueger pays to characters. The lead, Cork O‘Conner is fantastic but so too is his family which features prominently in all of these books. Never more so than in this one which has Cork trying to solve a murder & the same time one of his children is navigating a difficult decision. Another excellent installment which shows how complex it is to be human & care for others.
pickThis one was edge-of-your-seat suspenseful in a sophisticated way; while exploring universally human domains: trust, vision, the mystical, love, vengeance, and morality, among others. Seems I might never get enough of Krueger…

Just a few hours left in this book and no dead human bodies yet except for one from the past. There‘s a lot of emphasis on the personal lives of two of the kids. It was a beautiful day for a walk. #audiowalk
It was 54° here in the morning. I woke up to the heater because my husband turned it on. I‘m the person who waits to do that until it‘s cold all day because when it hits 80°, you just have to turn it back off. More Cork O‘Connor for walking. I love the water lilies and the beauty berries. #audiowalk
