A soft, gentle hug of a book - the illustrations are beautiful, the story is inclusive and kind. There‘s compassion, empathy, and joy. It makes for a lovely break from my typical, darker reads.

The art and inclusivity in this story just fills my soul. It‘s whimsical and oh so cozy. Features a non-binary/genderfluid MC, both Deaf disability representation, BiPOC characters and an M/M relationship from the first book. The over-arching them of acceptance in all its forms is what makes this series one I am sure I will reread.

4th Hour of the Reverse Readathon! 💖

After I finished reading The Tea Dragon Society by K. O‘Neill, I was happily surprised to have FOUND there‘s a companion and sequel!! Definitely last minute additions to my TBR for tonight. Will start full on reading after the last of my homework is complete! 💕

A little more whimsical and active than the first book, but just as sweet and heartfelt. An earnest look at the importance of home and family, and finding your passion—what you are meant to do. I especially love the way these books handle inclusivity—without it being part of the story or message-driven. Stories, ultimately, about finding yourself in caring for others.
