I really enjoyed 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 by 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻. I listened to the audio version while commuting to & from my office, & the crisply-structured, fast-paced story helped the miles fly by.
I expect their second collaboration, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿, which is now available in paperback, will be as much.
pickThis book was well written and action packed. If you enjoy special operations rescues and all the behind the scenes intel, you will enjoy this book. This is not my normal genre but I won this book in a #Goodreadsgiveaway and I‘ve been trying to branch out into genres that aren‘t my norm. For those of you who love thrillers this will be a “pick”. The audio version is well presented with the different character narrators.

The idea behind this could have made a decent action film. But it read like a bad B movie (or C movie. Is that a thing? It feels like a thing). Glad I borrowed this one instead of paying for it.
pickI imagine Bill and Jim sitting on the deck of a lavish clubhouse watching sailboats share the waters with dolphins as Bill regales his worst nightmare as a past POTUS until —- here he comes to save the day! This was entertaining and I have to say it is a good thing when a former guy spins a yarn and calls it what it is - fiction :)
so-soFast paced. Thrilling. However, the story is not very original. I still enjoyed it though. I'm giving this book ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5
pickAbsolute pure junk food for your brain. Fast paced & jam packed, this one doesn't slow down - which is good because it's 594 pages and you need a good reason to turn that many pages.
