pickIn 2001, I picked up used copies of all of Ian Fleming's James Bond books. It took me more than 15 years of sporadic reading, but his week I finally finished the last two: the subpar The Man With The Golden Gun, and this vastly superior short story collection. The title stories are standouts, showing both Ian Fleming and 007 at their best. I'm glad to end this long journey with this book and not the disappointing Man With The Golden Gun. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
