Holy SMOKES. 1) That was so good! 2) Probably one of (if not THE) steamiest books I've ever read 🔥🔥 3) Pretty sure erotic Greek mythology retellings might be the gateway drug to Greek mythology in general because I can't get enough. (I'm not well versed on the topic, but growing increasingly more obsessed with Hades and curious about why Zeus is often portrayed as the entitled not-nice guy. I NEED MORE)

Not gonna lie, I hate read the first 80 pages of this Persephone-Hades retelling, it was a little repetitive and didn‘t delve deep into anything, until, UNTIL, we got to the sex. Which was, holy moly, fire. Which the first bout was about 20 pages. It almost reads like a bad Tyler Perry movie but the sex, which makes up a good 1/3 of this book, and a Dionysius side story that got me in the feels, make this a pick. @Bookzombie thanks for this!

Reggie @KristiAhlers there‘s t hi s booktuber who had a video talking about how she came back from her bookclub and how only 5 out of the 14 people read the book she picked. And how she was irked because she reads their books. That‘s what you do when you sign up to play the game. And I try not to end group books. Cause you know, I signed up. And in this case it worked out. The hate reading. Lol ❤️ 14mo

Secretly I was hoping that had happened because I live across from a drug house that brings in a lot of unwanted traffic down our street and I‘m just waiting for the day they steal a package and realize it‘s a book. This is an erotic/contemporary romance retelling of Hades and Persephone and it was so good. I really loved both of the main characters, but especially Hades. 💗🔥I also loved the other characters and can‘t wait to read the next two books.
Earlier this year I read Neon Gods, also an H & S retelling and I enjoyed it, but if I had to choose I would pick this one. #LMPBC #GroupR
