I went into this one knowing only that it was an Edgar Award finalist for Best Novel. And, wow! A twisty thriller with unlikeable (?) narrators… sooooo good. 👍🏻

Fantastic thriller. The story begins with the mutilated corpse of a local woman found and her husband missing. So many clues to put together. A rich out of town couple that rented a house from the deceased is of interest as they appear to be possibly involved but nothing is what it appears to be.
This was a weird thriller for me. It was fast-paced, funny, & something different. That said, the amount of forgiveness that I would have to give in order for this storyline to be plausible is unrealistic. I couldn't accept some of the implausible actions by the law enforcement officers, detectives, & secondary characters. Ultimately, that took this down to ⭐⭐⭐ for me.
I had such fun listening to this exciting thriller! It hooks you in right from the very start and in no time I was listening to it at every opportunity! I really loved this domestic thriller. Some may see a few of the twists coming- but there are still unexpected turns too! And while it may strain credibility at times, it‘s a totally satisfying and completely entertaining experience! Great performances and now I can‘t wait to see what‘s next!
I love it when an impulse library pick pans out! This was wild. Pretty grim and far fetched, but the middle twist caught me completely off guard and I ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I thought this story would make a nuanced statement about poverty versus privilege. The only statement it made was one that reinforces all the stereotypes. I thought it was gross and I‘m angry about it. Lizzie or Adrienne were both quite one-dimensional. Everything about this felt superficial and silly, but that feeling wasn‘t fully confirmed for me until what I‘d suspected early on was confirmed.
“It‘s hard to believe in such casual cruelty unless you‘ve seen it with your own eyes.”
I'm attracted by the title of this book.
I enjoyed the early part of this book, but the twist is unbelievable. The main character can impersonate other character is really illogical and that's what ruined the whole experience of this book.
1/5.
This was a near perfect thriller that I had to give 5 🌟.. you know something good has to happen when you find out, or are made to believe you found out 🧐 , who the killer is in the very beginning.. and to say she made something good happen is an understatement. This one is a mind-blower, with great underlying motives and lessons. My only gripe is that an animal dies. 🚨 This is not one for you though if you have a weak stomach for gory details.
4¼⭐ | Narration 😁 = Very Good
A cleverly told tale about a girl who has her head blown off, and then tells her story from beyond the grave. A story about growing up in poverty, bad marriages, and what it‘s like being “that girl” in school. No One Will Miss Her not only held my interest, but the twist got me, too. And, it‘s all wrapped up in a fiery little cover, to boot. I just wish the ending left me feeling less unfulfilled.
This is a dark and twisted tale of small towns, privilege and what happens when a girl‘s dreams are cut short. I loved the “not everything is what it seems” aspect and the detective‘s contribution to the overall plot. I recommend this one to reader‘s that enjoy both gritty suspense thrillers and detective novels.
It‘s always the husband isn‘t it? He and Lizzie had a history.
NO ONE WILL MISS HER is creative but also odd, dark, and gruesome with some difficult scenes and language.4/5

The twists and turns were perfect. You won't see it coming!!!!
This is a fast paced thriller that will have you on the edge in quite a few places. Told from different povs it tells the story of a young woman, a wife, who was brutally murdered. The only way she is identified is priceless yet cruel too. Shame on them. I truly liked Lizzie. All the way through this book I rooted for her. She was the junkyard trash.
This book is so good.
1: NO ONE WILL MISS HER by Kat Rosenfield
2: I like the story from the victim of this book. So far the whole thing is good but the chapters from the dead woman are so telling. Makes you understand her so much.

I listened to the audiobook version of this one. This is the story of Lizzie Oulette. A young woman born on the wrong side of the tracks who finds herself viciously murdered when she is in her early 20‘s. The character of Lizzie is the narrator as she walks us through her miserable life before her untimely death. The story takes a crazy plot twist at about the sixty percent mark. While there is little excitement after that it is worth the journey.
