Too many descriptions and slow plot development. I am not continuing the series.

Here‘s my #bookspin list for January. A lot of #AuldLangSpine books, some owned books, we‘ll see what pops up for #Roll100 next week. And I‘ve already requested the books I need to from the library.

TheAromaofBooks Woohoo!! Also, #Roll100 numbers dropped yesterday as well!! 2y
Laughterhp @TheAromaofBooks Oh yeah, I wrote that wrong. I have the numbers, but left my list at home. So I won‘t know what actually got picked until I see my list next week! 2y
TheAromaofBooks I'm with you now! I just wanted to make sure that you hadn't missed the thrill of the posted numbers! 😂 2y

Mehso-so

It has an interesting enough story line and the ending has me intrigued by what will happen next. That said, the characters are so-so; very stereotypical characterization that had me rolling my eyes by the end. The plot twists were too erratic and the characters overdone. I enjoy the idea, the the application is a little shoddy, it felt like she was trying too hard to check all of the boxes for contemporary fantasy lit for young adult
