THRAWN!!! Probably my favorite we‘ve read so far. It‘s a good wrap up to the trilogy and everything comes around to set Thrawn up for the next trilogy he‘s the star of. The pacing is fluid, quick but clean. Character development pays off for almost all the characters. The dual timelines converge to give a terrific ending. Listened to audio as well and it was 👩‍🍳💋

I loved this book. It was a fantastic conclusion to the Ascendancy trilogy. In this one Thrawn risks everything for one last attempt to save his people and destroy the Grysk.

The last part of the trilogy was my favourite. I got a better feeling for the characters and the story, and got more drawn into the book than before. Not my most beloved series in the Star Wars universe, but I still really liked the characters and how it all turned out.

What did everyone think of Out of The Shadows? I enjoyed it. I really like Vernestra Rwoh. She's becoming one of my favorites in this new series.
This month we finish up the Thrawn Ascendancy trilogy with Lesser Evil. I'm looking forward to catching up with the Chiss.

I feel like I lost some of the story as I zoned out during the extensive space battle sequences. The strategic reasoning is a lot of fun, but I am going to be looking for a general summary of the full series to remind myself of all the connections. On to the High Republic series!

Trying to blow through this audio before it returns Wednesday. 23 hour book with a 21 day loan, and lots of holiday commitments, but also lots of time off, so I think I'll be able to finish. Built this Metal Earth model this morning while listening.
