Oh my goodness - so I went to my local little bookstore today to order a few books - and this slipped into my hands ! It‘s the most gorgeous book. The author was a volunteer at the British Library for 12 years where she got to know the illustrated manuscript collection intimately and the stories they tell. I ♥️ my bookshop!
