As two adult siblings start of on a cross-country trip, one of them has an accident which leads into a wild Lovecraftian supernatural thriller that kept me guessing at every turn.

I really liked this book and there are a lot of great horror scenes in it. If you aren't a fan of Lovecraft's writing this probably isn't the book for you though even if you're a horror fan.

This spooky listen opens with an eerie desert discovery before moving to the road trip between adult siblings, Nell and Jonah. Nell felt abandoned by her older brother‘s sudden departure from New Mexico so she‘s excited for the drive bringing her newly divorced brother home. Her attempts to raise his spirits by reminding him of his past backfires but it‘s not long before the biker gang isn‘t the only one tailing them down the road! #AudioColoring

🎧 The cover of this book reminded me of the covers for The Library at Mount Char & The Library of the Unwritten. Yes the comparison is odd & means nothing but I liked the cover.

This book was a horror/thriller. If you like body horror, here it is!

We have a brother/sister who were close until one left, years later they‘re reunited when one gets a divorce & they drive cross country back to their childhood town.
