There was no match between me and this book. I think the subject can be interesting (a German man getting his life back on track after WWII), but it wasn't to me. Those endless sentences, I could not concentrate and skimmed them. I did get the story but probably missed all the beauty hidden in the sentences. It doesn't really bother me, perhaps another day I'll read it again. #1001books
