A big thanks to @dariazeoli for this giveaway vegan cookbook, bursting with color and deliciousness. I'm really looking forward to trying some of these, and love that it has many low carb recipes. I'm struggling with a new low carb diet due to reflux problems so this is perfect timing. Thanks again! 😃

JamieArc I have a different vegan cookbook by that author that I really like! 5y
dariazeoli Well, that got there super quickly! Enjoy 😉 5y
Billypar @JamieArc Good to know! I like how it's organized and it's filled with a lot of information about the food beyond the recipes themselves. 5y

vivastory I read it about a year & half ago 5y
Billypar @vivastory I really like it! I've been dipping in and out since Halloween. I always liked Lovecraft's ideas but not his writing- with Ligotti, both are strong. 5y
Billypar @vivastory I'm a little bit horror'd out though at the moment, so I'm going to save the final 25% for next October. 5y
vivastory Good idea. For me, horror is like poetry. A little bit goes a long way. Also, currently if I want to be terrified I'll just watch the news. 5y
vivastory And he does feel like a contemporary, less overwrought Lovecraft. I will probably reread a few of them at some point. 5y
Billypar @vivastory Ugh- that's the truth about the news 😨 5y

I don't have many peach colored books, but those that I do have are cookbooks (and also closer to orange anyway) 😅 #augustofpages #augustphotochallenge

BookHermit Lol two of mine were cookbooks, too 🙂 8y
StephBengtson I love Isa Chandra so much! 🌱✨💕 8y
ValerieAndBooks Note to self: look at my cookbooks too! Turns out I have a few with that shade. Maybe it's just a popular color choice for cookbooks for some reason. 8y

Eyelit @BookHermit & @ValerieAndBooks maybe the peachy/orange color makes people want to eat? 😆 8y
Eyelit @StephBengtson I love her too! 8y
readinginthedark I love Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World! Their cookie one is amazing, too! 8y
Eyelit @readinginthedark yeah the cupcakes take over the world is awesome... I've tried maybe 5 recipes from that (all good) 😃 some are def more intimidating than others when it comes to steps/ingredients involved 8y
readinginthedark @Eyelit Agreed. Sometimes I have to hit up my health food store. But I like that they give you ideas for substitutions and how the ingredients work together. It's really improved my baking! 8y
