Rachel Caine‘s very last book in the Stillhouse Lake series. She wrote this one on her deathbed and Carrie Ryan finished it. You really can‘t tell where one author ends and the other begins. It was a perfect mesh. I absolutely loved this series.

What an amazing series!! So many twists and turns. Sad there won‘t be any more adventures with Gwen and the kids. These 6 books are well worth the read if you like suspense and mystery novels 📖
Crumb was spayed Friday so I‘m having a reading day with her 🥰

I highly recommend this series. Just when you think Gwen and her family are settled and out of harm‘s way, someone else comes out of the woodwork to cause trouble. I‘ve really grown to like these characters and appreciate the dangerous situations they‘ve overcome. #SeriesLove2023 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

“Gwen Proctor has always been willing to do anything it takes to protect her kids. But there are some things even she can‘t protect them from. When a violent incident at Connor‘s school brings the press to Gwen‘s doorstep, she agrees to take a case out of town hoping to keep her family out of the crushing media spotlight.”

I was browsing the August new releases on Goodreads and I saw this and immediately put it on my TBR. I loved the original five of the Stillhouse Lake Series and I‘m so glad that the series will be continued!
