pickThis is a solid ghostly whodunnit, I have to admit. I have read some recommendations saying that the only fully-fleshed character is the main character, but to that I have to pose the challenge: how deeply did you care to see into those around you as a teenager? Keeping that in mind, this is a pick.
panI think I have truly outgrown this genre. More than half of the YA novels are just meh! to me. This one is no exception. I liked the blurb, but started skimming the book after the third chapter to just get to the basic plot.
Just started this YA novel. Picked it for the title and don't actually know what I'm in for.
So far, the MC has just arrived in her new swanky home in LA. Her new step-father is a Hollywood director. She finds her introduction to the glamorous world of expensive and shiny things strange.
Also, she murdered her father and tries to talk to his spirit.

Book number 44 of my year and this is the book I lost for two whole days lol it was somehow put back onto my shelf in with books I‘ve already read 😒 at least I found it lol 💁🏻♀️
pickThis was the last book I read for the teen reading challenge. I enjoyed the mystery of who the killer was. The writing was definitely on a teen level but it still held my interest.

I liked it. Katie Alender has this unique and personable writing style. I love her YA books. It's not 5 stars just because I don't feel such a deep connection and love for it that will stick around. But it's a fun read! 😊👍

pickFamous Last Words was SO good. It had mystery, romance, pain and so many other elements that make a book so great. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good ghost-serial killer-murder book!
"This is the kind of dream you don't wake up from, Henry" ... This book has caught my attention just from this one line. I don't know what it means yet, but I hope I find out soon!
