I was prepared to dislike this because it was an unnecessary addition to the series. I still stand by that thought and I didn‘t really think the two storylines in this book went together, but it wasn‘t terrible. Just not as good as the others.

This deep dive into brothers Grayson and Jameson's lives was the perfect way to stay immersed in the world of this series. The ending was satisfying AND expertly sets us up for the next on the series.
I‘m sorry, no. I really liked Grayson‘s perspective, and what was going through his head. I also really liked the premise. However, in my humble opinion, it was not done right. I found it boring and repetitive-
I‘ve been disappointed by some YA mystery spin offs this year, so I‘m really pleased that I liked this one and it was on par with the rest of the series. Parts of the mystery follows the plot of the main trilogy, and we‘re split between Grayson and Jameson‘s POVs. Because were following both of them and the chapter are short, it felt disjointed at times, like I was reading 2 books that got smashed together, but overall it was a fun time! 4/5⭐️
This book was the worst of the series, but that doesn‘t mean it wasn‘t amazing. This was written from Grayson and Jamesons perspectives, and they were touching and heartbreaking. I loved to watch Jameson grow throughout and Grayson…well he‘s my favourite I love everything he does. The mysteries of this novel connected so well with the other three books. I‘m glad I joined it this journey.
I enjoyed reading this book!! I am loving the series!!! I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
I will take more of Grayson and Jameson Hawthorne any day! I love that this series is continuing, and new characters are being introduced. I hope we get to see a book from Nash and Xander‘s POV someday too. Of all the brothers, Nash seems the least flushed out to me. Maybe it‘s because I‘m the oldest that I‘d like to know the oldest brother a little more. At any rate, I can‘t wait for the next installment. Game on!

This series did not need this fourth book. I'm sure there are fans who will love revisiting this world and these characters, but this one felt rushed and the storyline felt forced at times.
It's a quick read, but it just lacks the cohesiveness of the trilogy.
It‘s not my favorite in the series, but it is my favorite read last week.

I love this series which is why this gets a soft pick. Definitely my least favorite in the series & was close to being so-so. There are two separate storylines that keep the main characters separated for most of the book. However, the ending hints at the next storyline and it seems like it could get this great series back on track.

#serieslove2023 As much as I was excited to be back with the Hawthornes, this was a low pick. It had 2 storylines both taking place after the last book. We see Avery & Jameson get involved in some kind of secret society with high stakes while Grayson is off helping his birth family. There will be another book after this one following Avery and Eve! It is difficult to capture the same magic as the original trilogy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 stars
Finished up the last of the Brothers Hawthorne and admiring my new Fall pedicure… bc I‘m a nerd in all things.
Probably Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas? @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @Eggbeater @kimmypete1 #booknotes
