No One Saw a Thing
No One Saw a Thing: The Twisty and Unputdownable New Crime Thriller for 2023 from the Top Ten Sunday Times Bestselling Author of All Her Fault | Andrea Mara
3 posts | 3 read | 2 to read
'Probably the most suspenseful book I will read all year.' Liz Nugent No one saw it happen. You stand on a crowded tube platform in London. Your two little girls jump on the train ahead of you. As you try to join them, the doors slide shut and the train moves away, leaving you behind. Everyone is lying. By the time you get to the next stop, you've convinced yourself that everything will be fine. But you soon start to panic, because there aren't two children waiting for you on the platform. There's only one. Someone is to blame. Has your other daughter got lost? Been taken by a passing stranger? Or perhaps the culprit is closer to home than you think? No one is telling the truth, and the longer the search continues, the harder she will be to find... Your favourite authors love Andrea Mara: 'Andrea Mara is a star.' Lee Child 'Andrea is an author to watch.' Sarah Pearse 'Mara knows how to take every parent's worst nightmares and turn them into top-class page turners.' Ellery Lloyd

I had a shitty week at work, preceded by shitty months at a newish job I THOUGHT I was going to enjoy and is instead overwhelming and managed by people who don‘t care that they need to hire more people to deal with the volume. One of the only things that makes my day better: new books! The top 3 are my #botm picks for March and the bottom 2 I found on World of Books for a great price! Now I just need time to read them 😫. Audiobooks are saving me!

monalyisha I‘m with you re: understaffing & work-related frustrations! I hope it gets better, or that you find something else sooner rather than later. In the meantime, thank god for escapism. 📚 Good luck! 💓🤞🏻 2mo
dabbe Hope things get brighter for you soon. Yay to the new books! 💚💙💚 2mo
TrishB I hear you! Enjoy the books, they‘ll always be waiting. 2mo

Brilliant story line. Kept me guessing all the way through. One friendship group built on so much deceit.
