pickDarkwater was an incredible book, I had such a hard time putting it down! With interesting characters, an incredible plot about a girl's struggle with family pride, and all from the same writer that gave us Incarceron, it's definitely a book I would recommend to any fantasy lovers. 💕

I'm reading Darkwater because it's been sitting on my shelf for a couple years and it's also pretty close to 220 pages (229 pages). Still aiming for that gold medal in the #bookisholympics!
So far this looks like it will be a so-so read. Not bad, but not spectacular. I don't regret reading it, but I'm also glad it will be over soon. Still 50 pages to go.
