This book has Tori Bovalinos' signature writing style full of dark topics and meaningful messages. I loved the love story. It had me on the verge of tears, which is very rare because I usually don't read books for the romance. The descriptions are perfection, and the characters are very well written. I highly recommend this book!

This was just OK for me. The world-building, story, & romance were adequate but I didn't get swept away in the story as I did with 'Belladonna' by Adalyn Grace. There were no real surprises in how things turn out. Overall, it was fine but I wouldn't re-read it. 3⭐ 3mo
