While the Christmas/ holiday season is slowly winding down, I've enjoyed the time that I've had to do some reading. I bought Monarch (2nd book) at B&N during the break, not realizing it was a series. Of course, I had to buy the 1st one even though they can be read separately, in my opinion. Grimstone was a decently spicy book that comprised of a captivating narrative. I'm currently reading Monarch.

pick4 stars! This book humanized one of the most tragic events that can happen to a woman in her life. They didn‘t demonize her and they didn‘t bad mouth her. For that, I give this book so much credit to how real these people felt after awhile. They also gave the real monster in the book a justified end. Not my cup of tea still, but I would gladly read this over Haunting Adeline. I can actually see myself happily reading the second book. Recommend.
Still in my gothic romance era!
This one has been on my wishlist for a while and it went on sale on Amazon so i snagged it!
so-soThe actual plot of this one‘s pretty interesting, and I didn‘t see the twist coming, but the intimacy is just so awkward it was tough to muster the will to keep reading.
I joined the Kindle bandwagon and I couldn‘t be happier. The glare on my iPad was killing my eyes. And it made it almost impossible to read outside. But now I need Kindle Unlimited recommendations. Drop a few of your favorites in the comments.
