Finished this one in November! Ahh this was the end of the Between Earth and Sky trilogy. I‘ve loved these books so much. I think I liked the other 2 more than this one. But overall, it was a good/satisfying ending to the series.

I read like half of it June and finished the rest in 2 days. #20in4

I was glad to read a fantasy inspired by Pre-Colombian Americas. I was also very satisfied with the ending.

Last of the series, and it was challenging. Roanhorse wrapped up the characters lives in ways that were true and meaningful. Some won the lives we wanted for them, others deserved their fates, but I was sad to lose them. As always, loved her use of pronouns, and honorific titles that are not gender specific. Wish our world was the same. VERY glad for the “People of the Meridian” list; I kept confusing the relationships. I‘ll miss this series.

Well that was devastating but in the best possible way. I couldn't put this down and I was tense reading it. It built and built to a conclusion that made sense to the world and story.

As much as I loved it, the pacing felt a little off and some POV chapters weren't as well done as others. Though that could be my bias as some characters I cared more about than others.

I loved this trilogy and I feel like this concluding volume ended in a way that made sense but boy am I salty about my fave lol. I think it's worse that I respect the ending despite my fave getting shafted. I'd still recommend this though because I was thoroughly entertained by the world and the characters.

Lots of new books out today including the tagged one which is the [undoubtedly epic] conclusion to one of my all-time favorite fantasy series. There‘s a book about a nine-tailed fox and trickster god, The God and the Gumiho, a YA book set on the Blackfeet reservation, Looking for Smoke, and last but not least, a contemporary fantasy, The Wren in the Holly Library, set in NYC. This is one of those days I‘m super excited to be a reader, 📚📚📚

My June #bookhaul so far! So excited the tagged book is finally published! I can‘t wait to pick it up. Also, I didn‘t realize the new Sarah Perry was published today too!

I also got my June #BOTM picks in. I didn‘t like any of the main options, so did a reader favorites and picked Five Broken Blades. Just because I wanted the add ons!
