I liked this novella giving us more about Roman - an integral character in the Kate Daniels universe. I wish it was longer though, the first half was great, but then it rushed through the ending. I do look forward to more of this new spin-off. 4⭐️

#ReadAway2024 #SeriesLove In the World of Kate Daniels, Roman finally gets his own series! I‘ve always liked Roman and it‘s wonderful to finally get to know him better. And Roman may have finally met someone to take home to meet his family. Recommended.

Action-packed fantasy with quite a bit of violence and just a touch of dark humor. Perfect for shorty September.
