I adore this series so much. This final book followed up with the same writing style and prose. Of which, now being older myself reading these, it‘s interesting that the story never seems to evolve. Which helps a lot with all these twists, but not with getting deep into it. In tune to this final one, I liked how the questions of morality came up, wanting a simply life, though felt a missed opportunity for taking it in depth.

I'm about 100 pages in the book I like it. My favorite part so far is when Michael is about to get pants, just in the page or two there is so much description I was able to vividly imagine the pantsing and the zap.

Micheal Vey is about a 15 year old kid named Micheal, who has electric powers. Him and his two friends Ostin Liss and Taylor Ridley discover that he is not the only one with powers. They also figure out something is hunting them. The genre of this book is science fiction. If you like books that are about people with powers or action books, you would like this.

MissYaremcio Glad that you are enjoying the book! Thank you for coming to talk to me about this assignment! 5y

#3 High schooler Micheal Vey lives a normal life, but with a big secret. He was born electric, and can shock anything he touches (or anything that is connected to him by metal). His life was normal other than that, and no one other than his best friend Ostin knew up until the school bullies jumped him and he had to shock them in front of a cheerleader. He then comes to know that the cheerleader, Taylor, also has powers, the power to wipe and read-

creampiss (Continued in comments) minds, and the three of them (Micheal, Taylor, and Ostin) uncover a giant conspiracy about their births, how they got their powers, and other children with powers like them. They end up traveling the country with Micheal's former bully, and meeting the antagonist responsible for their powers, Dr. C.J. Hatch. If you like action, sci-fi, and conspiracies, this book will be perfect for you. 10/10. 5y

So I went to Barnes and Noble today and bought some books before heading to the movies. Well this young man was being trained to work there and he came to ask if I needed anything. He then recommended that I read this series.... in such an adorable, excited way that I bought it on my kindle. And finished it in like three hours. So thanks to that adorable new hire... I have a new book series to binge!!! 📚

I am completely addicted to this thrilling series and I have read every one! I have also listened to them many times to make sure I didn't miss a second! I love this so much and although I wish it was a movie, the motion pictures would ruin the wonderful story! I suggest you read this if you enjoy to read! If not, that is a very, very sad fact and you are a sad person.

Recommendations needed for my 13-year old son. Michael Vey is the only book series he loves. I have exhausted my resources at the library where I work looking for others that he will love, but I've had little luck. Most are just "okay" to him. He doesn't like Harry Potter (gasp!) or Hunger Games. Percy Jackson was all right. He loved Diary of a Wimpy Kid when he was younger, but thinks they are too babyish now. Help!

Krisjericho Adding - it doesn't be necessarily have to be YA. Adult is fine. 8y
rachellayown Hmm. That's tough. My 16 year old hit a reading slump around that age too. I know he liked the Fourth Stall books and the No Safety in Numbers series. (Not sure if he loved them though.) 8y
LectricSheep What about The Knife of Never Letting Go and its sequels? The first book (the one I'm in the process of reading) is fast and really intriguing! It's "boy-focused" YA. 8y
