Okay...not entirely sure but after a poem about drowning farm kittens as pet population control (with all due respect to Mr Heaney, neuter your f*cking pets people 😡😡😡😡), I think I may be DNF-ing the poet laureate. He‘s technically my #Irishauthor for #winter of #Booked2019 but I suspect this book is better for killing mosquitos than reading. Puff is dubious as well & now I need a new book. Is Northern Ireland acceptable @Cinfhen ??

Libby1 Northern Ireland is always acceptable. 😊I‘m not familiar with that particular poem, but as many are about his childhood the kitten drowning episode may have been before neutering was possible. If you‘re looking for another Irish author I‘d recommend Jennifer Johnston or David Park. 💚 5y

Not entirely what I signed up for but my #Booked2019 Irish Author, Seamus Heaney, just helped Puff and I hunt down and pulverise the mosquito that has been tormenting is for two hours 😂😂😂 (I live in an area which has had dengue, malaria and chikungunya outbreaks recently so... there‘s no mercy for mosquitos here!). @Cinfhen - the multiphase advantages of a reading challenge 😂😂😂
